Once upon a time, I didn't like Muse, the band. Their slightly-more known songs from their first album were like sandpaper in my ears.
But.. But... *puts on hipster glasses* The first three albums are the best three albums!

Personally, I remember the first time I ever heard Mastodon I almost shat myself. Now I love them.

Hnnnngg.
I feel that way every time I am introduced to a new Metal band >.>

I eventually grow to love them.
I know what you mean. I think Mastodon was the strangest though, I was ten, my brother walked in and put on Iron Tusk at full blast. It was all very scary.

All my life I have hated tea. Living in Ireland, I was a severe disappointment to my family and was frequently shamed and ridiculed. Rather than joining the crown to please others, however, I refused to give in to the pressure and continued to abstain from drinking the beverage. Eventually my family grew to accept me and soon all was forgotten and I maintained that tea was the most yucky substance to have ever been invented.

Recently, however, I was forced to drink a cup of tea as there was no coffee available and I was in desperate need of a hot drink and, to my disgust, I enjoyed it. Now I am a regular tea drinker, often having more than one cup a day. As I type this, I am sipping away at a lovely mug of Barry's Tea and it is delicious.

I haven't told my family yet because I don't think I could cope with the endless wave of 'I told you so's they are going to assault me with.

Anyway, back to the point of the thread.

Is there anything that you used to dislike but have recently come around to. It could be food, music, actors, films, ideas or anything.

I know this thread has been done before but wa'eva, I do what I want.
just remember to leave the bag in long enough for the anti-toxin goodness to seep out, unlike those 2 second Dunkers that end up drinking a cup of hot water and milk.

saying that I do prefer coffee

Spent many years mocking people who fell into that rutt in life and not putting effort into their love-life/relationships, always telling my girlfriend we'd never end up like that.

Recently realised I've become a boring old man and at some point in the last few years seemed to lose that romantic spark I always harped on about.

Becoming what you always hated/mocked when you was young makes you an angry person!
