I've *FINALLY* started finding items in TF2!

So, I don't play TF2 too too much, just a little here and there. I'd never unlocked an item by finding it until yesterday. I have to say I was getting really ticked off, my little step bro can play for an hour and find 2/3 items some times, but I'd never found anything.

It's funny too, I connected to an Idle server the other day (not knowing what it was), and after being thoroughly confused for ~5mins I disconnected and Google'd around to find out about it. Of course, now the cruel irony will be Valve taking away the few items I have because I connected to an Idle server once, haha. I've been told that as long as I didn't run the Idle program I should be fine, but it would just be my luck...

Oh well, I'll just have to make the best of my borrowed items!

How bout you Escapist TF2 players? Had any luck finding any items/hats?

Oh, and before people come in and start saying it, I did a search and didn't find a post quite like mine. But the mods shall decide that I guess.

Got all the unlocks but that was through achievements. Got way too many duplicates, we need a trade system.

I only have one hat, that's the Soldiers Pot. I want the Spy beard...

dude.. I have like 20 fucking kritxkriegs, god knows how many ambassadors and 6 flare guns is OK man...

I have one hat (besides the halo) and that is the medic's pickelhaube. I've already unlocked the weapons, so all I get are repeats for the majority of my drops.

I have the Cheaters Lament as well, but it's still (unfortunately) my only hat.

I still don't understand why some people get items like CRAZY, and then some others almost never get that "roll of the dice".

Best drop I've had, of the two I've gotten so far, was definately the Cloak and Dagger. I don't hate playing as the Spy now .

I've got all the unlocks but the Cloak and Dagger, since I don't play spah too much. The stupid hats keep eluding me. I do have the Demoman's Fro though, which is pretty sweet.

I get all the items I have do to the achievements but I never get any hats.
I guess they need to work the kinks out of the system

You know you can still get all the items from achievements... Ok so maybe some of the older ones are harder to get on achievements alone, but come on the Spy / Sniper weapons are so easy to get from achievements.

I remember hearing a good while ago that Valve said that after every class update is released (on the PC), they'll make one huge game update for Xbox/PS3 peoples.

I find weapons all the time(which is annoying because I have everything already, and all of it except for the heavy stuff was from achievements), but I've only ever gotten one hat not including Cheater's Lament, that being Baseball Bill's Sport Shine for the Scout, which is lame because I don't even play scout and he looks pretty lame without his hat. I want some friggin' Demoman hats. :|
