In western society we are told to aim as high as possible and gain the most power we can have. Most everyone would appear to fail at that(see minimum to low-moderate waged people), do to western society's law of few can have power(and in eastern culture, even fewer can have power).
And with everyone clamoring for money/power. What makes it so worthy of my clamoring. I unlike others(those who will end up in a lower financial class) have a good opportunity to get to high power: I'm one hell of a politician seeing as I fit every requirement and I'd make an excellent lawyer with my loop-hole finding and way with words. But neither really seem to do much good for me as far as fulfillment goes(I'm good with my hands and with computers, just not as good as I am as lawyer/politician type). I have a large assortment of possible careers but I seem to want the more modest ones. And this is why I don't understand the want of power.
What's the big deal about power? Why do people want it? Is it really that good when all's said and done?
