But is there anyway to hook up an Xbox controller to a cars radio, and use it to control it? I just got a Chevy Prism 98 for free, but the radio is unfortunately positioned low on the console, so I figured this was a possible way to address the problem. Anyone know if it is possible? Even if you don't know how, a yes or no would help. Thanks!

Not a stock radio I would say no. There are however adapters to get xbox or xbox like controller to hook up to computers. Some of the special radios you could install would have a simple hack you could download to run a simple OS from there the adapter could probably run on the os and connect to the controller. So if your willing to buy stuff and put time in googling and talking to techies then yes I think its possible.

I like the way this is your most sensible solution to the problem. My initial answer is no, but my car clearly doesn't have as advanced onboard as yours. If it'll let you install drivers and has a USB port then there's very little reason why it wouldn't work. They're pretty big ifs though.
