Today, I committed an unspeakable atrocity. I traded in many of my old xbox games (many of them classics like Splinter Cell and MoH: Frontline) so I could buy American Idol Singing Game and Cabela's Something-Or-Other 2009 for my little brother's birthday. These games are NOT classics. They aren't even close to good game quality. But I sold some of my favorite games (and possibly my soul, considering how expensive American Idol is) to get them.

My point is, have you ever done something really regrettable (game-wise) for someone you love?

Or, you could rate how pathetic my act is (on a scale of 1-10).

3 as well.. but only because it is for others... and because you sound desparate (money wise not having it for those garbage games)

Well, I'm sorry but we may have to make a trip to the lime pit in my backyard, just lemme grab something first. Seriously if you're happy with your decision who cares? Play what you want. I wouldn't have sold my favorites though but if that's all you had to work with

I give you a 4, but I'd give you an 11 if you weren't buying them for your little bro. I sold a lot of gamecube games to buy my big brother Left 4 Dead.

I love no one sooo no i haven't ever done anything like that, or anything for anyone in general. You scored a 10 in my opinion, but thats mostly because you have loved ones and i find that very pathetic. Then again people say my lack of love is pathetic so yeah.

dude, the fact that your little brother even wanted the american idol game means that you should've given him a pimp slap and asked what the hell was wrong with him. seriously, you got rid of splinter cell!?!?
for shame sir, for shame.

I don't usually do things I would regret for the people I care about, so I can't really say I've done that. Although I did buy Dark Sector for myself. I really regret that... ugh.

Since it was a nice act for your lil-bro, I give you an 8. But why did you have to trade in the BEST ones? I mean Splinter Cell? MoH, meh wasn't that great anyway. But SPLINTER CELL? :O

And my most regrettable moment was purchasing Blades of Thunder for my DS for like 20 bucks... worst deal ever and I felt like shit after I played it for about 20 seconds.

its not as bad as me buying my 5 year old sister a Hannah Montana game for the Wii AND DS

Had to trade in most if my PS2 games that I loved.
Mainly the Maximo and Timesplitters series.

but I did not part with Timesplitters Future Perfect. I have not sunk that low

But I did shed a tear to see Timesplitters 1 and 2 and my Maximo games go.
I died a little inside too.

The things I'll do for the people I care about, makes me sick sometimes.
