My condolences for the widow. It's sad to die because of something so ridiculous. And there were other passengers who died as well.Jesus.

Am I the only one who never finds these sentences to be long enough? Why is being under the influence and hitting and killing someone with your car any different than being under the influence and then shooting someone in the face?
As far as I'm concerned, taking any substance above normal tolerances and getting in a vehicle, then hitting someone, should be equal to walking up to a guy and shooting him in the face, because even attempting to drive a vehicle while under influence has a way too high risk to go badly, which you knowingly accept when you drink/get high and drive.
*deep breath* Had to get that out of my system.

"Her vehicle went out of control and crossed into Wood's lane when she attempted to remove her sweater while passenger Samantha Bowling held the wheel"

Jail sentence is not enough, she should be banned from driving FOR LIFE.

Every time she has to get on a piss encrusted bus for work maybe she will think about what she did.

They need to revamp their laws I mean this is murdering three, almost 5, people. Do that with a knife and you are looking at 75-125 years.
I wouldn't call it murder, they didn't mean to do it.

I mean, they deserve way more time and they are fucking idiots, but they're not murderers. If i was murder, they'd have to have planned to do it.

Ugh, that starts today off on a bad note. Dammit, I hate people.

People need to exercise some common sense or logic and just pull over when they need to do things. Just because a passenger can reach a wheel does not mean they are in control.

This whole thing is just tragic and stupid, but I am glad that Erin survived to have her daughter.
