It seems like James Cameron has a fever, and the only prescription he's being given is more Avatar.

I can't see how you make a second film, one film was good enough.

How are they going to release two new movies in a row? Is it going to be one of these two part things? I hope not...
Also, I know I'll end up seeing both of these. In four years. Best mark my calendar.
I think it just means they're going to film them at the same time. Like the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3.

James Cameron, Please stop making films.
I dont need more preachy bullshit.

OT: Another film will be made with an amount of money that could probably lead to a fucking Cancer cure, but no, we need more crappy sequels in the world.
A cure for cancer for $200 million? Gee, what have they been spending all that research money they get every year on? Can't be actually working towards a cure or we would have cured that shot ages ago.

Through out that entire movie i was on the humans side.
For the fact that were human and there aliens and if they just did what we asked let us mine under there god damn tree then re plant everything it would have been oki.
But no, the main charcter betrays his race, you know what might makes right evolutionary wise i garuntee those navie dont even have 1/1,000,000th of human population now no matter when ever that movie is set.

Also near the end of that movie was just a cop out with that whole turning all of nature on the marines cause they were more badass . (Admin abuse i say spawning adds is OP )

:p any waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay

Yeah last movie will be Avatar3: Alien Flu - No one would have thought NAvi greatest enemy was man but Disease.

It's coming in 2014? DEAR GOD, it's coming sooner then I expected, I'm going to have to rush the construction of my Movie Fallout Shelter.

I might have to cut the budget on central plumbing in order to pay for sound proofing and the internet filter, but if that's the only to survive the inevitable fan rage when they see that the film is crap, then goddammit I'll just have to go without a toilet/shower for three months.

EDIT: There's a chance that Stephen Lang Won't be in the sequel despite saying he wanted to be there? Goddammit, DIG FASTER YOU BASTARDS, we need ready by late 2013!

Who will actually care by 2014? Critics were calling the Dark Knight "TEH BHEST MOVIE EVAR OMG", until Avatar came out, then Avatar was "TEH BHEST MOVIE EVAR". Within the next 2 years, another movie is going to come out that will be "TEH BHEST MOVIE EVAR". That's how movies work when they get really really popular, and Avatar honestly doesn't look like it will age very well.

Don't necessarily see how they could go about continuing this. The ending to the first one had quite a lot of closure to it. :(
It's pretty clear, they go back and nuke it all, in awesome CGI, string it out for 90minutes and smack some 3D on it, and there is your blockbuster.
I would actually watch that movie if all the Navi died horribly.

Cameron just turned me into a 2012 Doomsday believer within 5 secs. Something hours upon hours of doomsday History channel documentaries couldn't do.

Well it's still quite a ways away. Here's hoping they improve the story instead of focusing on visuals
Pfft... well maybe I can interest you in a new Sonic game. They're getting back to thier roots and have all the bugs worked out.

That's not what I want for Christmas. DAMN IT SANTA, I THOUGHT YOU GOT MY LIST!

The first one was OK, not worthy to take home the title of "BEST MOVIE EVARRR!" by far, and it's not even Cameron's best film (That's a tossup between T2 and Aliens, BTW).
But, eh could be worse movies getting sequels. And maybe the story will improve, surely the first one got the oh so subtle "green" message out of the way.

And hey, more Colonel Quaritch!
