Saw this on Del Toro's twitter, remembered how rad Hellstar Remina was, and proceeded to nearly throw up.
Why is there no God in this Konami filled world.

This makes far too much sense.DanteRL said:Considering how Kojima always loved to break the fourth wall, maybe that's the horror that both, him and Del Toro, are inflicting on us. Maybe Silent Hills wasn't a real project, and they're making us suffer through this story about an amazing game that never came to be. That's why Guillermo keeps tweeting about it, just to twist the knife a little more. We're all part of the interactive torture porn they created!!!!
I think the better word would be "trying their hardest." If Konami was actually doing their best, they'd be leaving with a lot more grace than they are now. There's a lot of things Konami could've done to make their exit from the games industry smoother and with much better reception, but apparently they've decided to burn every bridge they could find instead. I don't see how angering customers gets them more money, but they must think it does.sonicneedslovetoo said:I can only give Konami credit for one thing at this point. At least they are trying their best to get out of the video game business. That's it, that's all I can think of as a positive for this situation and even that's overshadowed by the fact that they'll probably take their IP's with them.
