I know it's cliche, but I only think Ahmed is funny. I really hate that stupid monkey thing. How many times can the joke of him pronouncing his name "Je-f-f DunHAAAAAM" be funny? Answer: Never. Number of Attempts at That Joke in A Single Routine: 9 million. Number Of Ears Ripped Off My Head: 2.

He is a racist, manipulative, inflammatory unfunny bastard cashing in on the lowest common denominator and bringing down the collective I.Q. and spirituality of all of America, IMO.

Achmed the Dead Terrorist is one of the funniest things I've seen in the last decade.

Other than that, I don't really know who this guy is. It's not like he's famous in the UK.

I like his Walter bit best. I don't understand why people seem to think the terrorist thing is that hilarious, it's not. But he is pretty funny.

Jeff Dunham was VERY funny in standup. And then Comedy Central gave him his own show, and it was HORRIBLE. I couldn't even watch it.

humor is subjective, what is funny for one person may not be for the next one. i do find him funny, i like the spark of insanity set.

I don't really find him funny. That said, I've only seen his Achmed routine, and it was shown to me by a side of the family I hate (which may have had a factor on it. I mean, they were laughing like madmen at a 'World's Largest Zit' video. At which point I left else I would have called them total idiots).

Truly funny puppetry can be found in Avenue Q. Dammit, it's leaving London soon!

He is kinda funny, his TV show was terrible. Though they did over play his specials on Comedy Central.

The Jeff dunham craze is really bizzare. When I first saw him I was happy to see someone using puppets again it was almost a dead art. Yes his jokes are very stereotypical but at the time I laughed so I guess it should be fine if you don't take any offense after all it isn't like other standups where they are making a real effort to say the most offensive thing possible to pull laughter out of ya. And to be honest his standup without the puppets is dead in the water.

Now he's like super popular with massess loving him and anti massess anti loving him and to be quite honest I never thought he earned either groups attention.

I think he's terrible live, and his damn t.v shows are even worse. I think I would prefer to watch Dane Cook. Or maybe even Jon Doore......

He can be funny, but he is over-quoted.
Jeff Dunham is funny; people quoting Jeff Dunham are not funny.
Whenever something gets repeated enough by people you don't like you will find it annoying. Like *shutters* Dane... Cook.

Ha Ha, I think you just described 99% of all comedians! And not just in America!

I love him. I think he's marvelous, and both me and my husband have watched most, if not all of his specials. Some of his jokes fall flat, but I still look forward to catching him on TV when I can.

I enjoy him, because he's the only comedian my girlfriend 'gets' meaning it's either him or The Notebook/Gilmore Girls.
On the whole though, I like my comedians blue collar and cynical.
In other words, Dennis Leary is my hero.

I find he has his moments but unfortunately they are few and far between.

David Strassman's show is far better if you need a ventriloquist fix. There are numerous stand-ups far better in general.
