Well, humor is entirely subjective so we can't definitively say if someone is funny or not.

That said, I love Jeff Dunham. I think his jokes are (generally) hilarious, his ventriloquism is spot-on and his puppets are endearing (especially Peanut <3). I don't fault anyone for not liking him of course, as I can see he might have a limited appeal.

I did go see him live though and I don't think I've ever laughed that hard in my life. He's in my top 10 list of favorite comedians, along with George Carlin, Robin Williams, Gabriel Iglesias and Joe Rogan.

I prefer his bits with Peanut. Achmed was ok when it first came out, but, it got tired rather quick.
Most definitely not my favorite, but, he's alright...in the correct dosages.

Jeff Dunham and his Achmed the Dead Terrorist routine have become world famous. He has over 110 million views on ONE video on Youtube, for example.

However, despite the massive hype and reverence people seem to have for him, I don't like him. Infact, he is my most hated "comedian" if I can even describe him as one.

His act is, to put it mildly, made up of inflammatory material. He seems to shove "I Kill You" into nearly every sentence. His "jokes" are cheesy and crass, and the punchline is easily worked out before he gets to it.

To put it simply, I don't find him funny. I despise the man, simply because he drags the spotlight away from genuinely talented comedians who put more thought into a routine than "I Kill You".

However, I'm very well aware that the majority of people seem to find him hilarious, and I wondered what people on The Escapist think.

OT: I HATED Achmed the Dead terrorist, his first DVD was better exponentially. Watch that (Arguing with myself) and then reconsider, but yes, "I keel you" was damned terrible.

The only time I find him funny is when he's doing a bit with Walter.
After that, no, I can't stand him.

I like him, yeah the show was another sad attempt at a network cashing in but turned out to bleed a comedian of his creative freedom (I forgot where I was going with that).

Anyway, yes, I find him funny. Not Eddie Izzard funny, but still very funny.
