He's okay. I have seen some of his specials, but I don't laugh very often. What poll options by the way?

Funny? Yes. As funny as people make him out to be? No.

While he is good, he's far from great, and he gets quoted far too often.

His Walter act was okay, the rest just kinda fell flat on their faces and broke its nose.

He has some funny moments, but usually just comes off as offensive and really really stupid.

Is he Funny?
short answer. No

Long Answer. Fuck no I haven't been amused by puppets that weren't on Avenue Q since I stopped watching Sesame street back in 94 (and Crank Yankers was pure retardation and anyone who disagrees is provably wrong)

I can think of like 300 funnier stand up comedians

I HATE VENTRILOQUISTS!!! OMG!!! Sorry, I just can't stand it, ur supposed to be looking at the puppet and the guy just stands there, and its stupid and omg, i have to rip out my hair >_< asufgbaufgqf23794tgqiur

Its just very awkward watching a ventriloquist, dunno why, it makes me want to break things >_<

EDIT : Maybe if he did a puppet show like crank yankers or the insult comic dog, i would let it pass.

I enjoyed it up until he got popular and everyone started seeing him and quoting his stuff like crazy. Now I could care less about him...

He's fucking awful, and i can't stress that enough. Everyone that i know seemed to have this big Jeff Dunham phase and i just didn't get it to the point of RAGING!!! >:I ARGH

"I keel you!" OH LOL WHAT A FUNNY JOKE. If i hear that one more time i'll stab someone.

/rage

It's not just that though, i was forced to watch through an entire DVD of his with friends. I can't imagine a more painful 2 hours, not one joke was funny.

I probably found him mildly entertaining the first time I saw his act, but having to listen to his fucktard fans constantly quote his most idiotic jokes has killed my ability to enjoy his stuff on any level.

No, not really. He seems very jaded to me. Now, I know most of what people refer to as comedy nowadays is nothing but making fun of other people, however, most of the decent comedians do it tastefully. Jeff Dunham just makes fun of people and nationalities for cheap laughs, and rather crudely at times. Plus he does the same routine over and over again. -_-; One of the only reasons I really watched him was because the "Guitar guy"(Brian Hayner Sr.) was the father of Avenged Sevenfold's lead guitarist Synyster Gates.

I find his stereotyping for profit pretty disgusting. I wasn't enraged, but I was offended on principle.

I think that Jeff Dun Haaammmmm (yes, a peanut joke) is quite funny. I know it is a minority opinion, but most of my opinions on this site is minority so I do not care. Please no flamy, I forgot to bring my flame-retardant underwear today.

he was funny when he busted out Achmed for the first time, but when he got his own show.....that was the straw that broke the camels back, from that point he started to suck

He has talent.........as a ventriloquist.

He's an okay comedian at best. But you have to admit, pretty much every single joke of his is basically stereotypical. Achmed is the Muslim stereotype. Bubba J is the redneck stereotype. Walter is the cranky old man stereotype. Peanut is the annoying friend that won't shut up stereotype. Jose the Jalapeno is the Mexican stereotype, pretty much the only character of his that I could kinda consider original is Melvin the Superhero, and even that one is basically kind of a nerd stereotype, and that still doesn't make it anymore funny.

I actually fairly laughed at his jokes when I first heard them, but then when he repeats the said jokes, it can get so pants-shittingly annoying.

And I think we can all agree that his show was just............................let's just say that it shall never be discussed. Ever.

Jeff made me angry back when Achmed was just a terrorist, but he's been fleshed out a little and now I'm happy with him.

I went to a live show, and I gotta say the man is a fantastic improviser. He ended up turning one woman's shriek of surprise into a ten minute gag, and every moment was funny.

I thought Achmed was funny the first time. I never saw anything else. But Achmed was pretty good.

Maybe I don't get it, but I don't see how mocking terrorists could be considered offensive.

I used to like him, I guess mostly because when I get excited I tend to be a fair bit like Peanut. But after watching only 10 minutes of one episode of his show I can't stand him anymore.
