Hey escapist. I'm watching the comeday central roast of Joan Rivers right now.(sucks) After each break, somebody with a show on comedey central would say a few words, like tosh.0 and michel and michel. But near the end I saw Jeff dunham poke fun at joan and then advertized his own show. He is getting a show!!?? Thats great news!(at least for me). Do you think he deserves a show? If so are you looking forward to it? What other comedians should get a show. I would love to see a John Pinete show. He is hilarious!

I know this sounds cliched but I don't like him anymore, ever since his most famous bit was "Achmed the dead terrorist" It's not even that funny compared to his other characters. But I do have tremendous respect for his ventriloquism, he's frankly amazing. Hopefully the show will be good.

Bottom line; I'll watch.

Wait, seriously? Damn... that's awesome and worriesome at the same time. So much potential for fuck ups, fewer potential for good material...

Either way, no way in hell I'm going to miss it. I'll give it its fair shot.

Haha, I just saw the same commercial! With Walter right? Anyway, I liked the Tosh.0 one the most. Anyway, I don't really care one way or the other. I don't think he's hilarious or terrible. I don't think it will last long though, many shows that get great reception don't last very long.

I'll give it a watch, but I don't think he can pull off a whole show with the few characters and jokes he has. Still, might as well give it a chance.

I never liked Jeff Dunham. I don't understand how he got so famous off of Achmed the dead Terrorist. Is it because of his ventriloquism skill?

I have no idea who any of these people are.
The dude with the pupets?
I think he means puppets. Is pupet pronounced "pu-pay" by any chance? Anyway, that's the best news I've heard all day! He's got to be one of my favorite comedians.

Just ignore Achmed, and check out the others (mainly Peanut and Walter.) I never really liked Achmed myself, but the others slay me.

I really didn't care for it. I did like when she slapped K Griffin though. She deserves it. But you are right, one of the top worst roasts.

Wow. It will probably ruin his career like every other comedian who gets their own show on Comedy Central.

Ah well.

I like how most of my favorite comedians are getting their own shows*, but I can't help but feel that it's a dead end for them.

*First, Lewis Black, then Demitri Martin, then Daniel Tosh, now Jeff Dunham, some of my favorites.

what about tosh.0?
Well it hasn't had time to ruin his career yet but that's a bad show. It'll go down in time and take its host with it.

NO! NO NO NO NO NO NO! Jeff Dunham was funny, ONCE! When he first came out, and when he was writing NEW jokes. Now all of his material consists of the same things as pervious material with 2 new jokes throwin in there. Hes also now as over played and over hyped as Dane Cook. Again Jeff Dunham was funny ONCE now hes just annoying. Comedy central is trying to kill me, i know it....

Please, that roast is comedic dynamite, that comment aside I think he's pretty awful. If I wanted to see a guy essentially talk to himself I could go to the hospital psych ward and see something just as good, if not better. (in a tragically hilarious way).
