Jimi Hendrix Rock band?

I was just looking for a bass tab when I stumbled across this little article.

I'm not so sure about this, Harmonix seem pretty cool but no matter what they do people are going to hate them for it.

So, thoughts?

EDIT: Just a thought, this won't be his first appearance in a music game, he appeared in World Tour as a playable character.

The awesomeness of Jimi Hendrix can't be contained in a console.

All this game will do is cause a hardware meltdown so grand that the RROD will seem like a small change in temperature.

The Jimi Hendrix Experience were though, and they were all pretty talented.

I suppose they wish to pay tribute to Hendrix in an effort to try and make money off of all the people who think Hendrix as the greatest (or one of) guitarists of all time.

Personally, I'm not sure if people will actually buy into this, some may just buy it because it's the next thing in the series or as a party game.
