So after a couple of days I saw this and i mostly agree with you.It does indeed look bad,but what I hate the most is when people flag something as bad and they have 0 experience with it.I honestly am a fanboy of the xbox and like it more then the ps because of the simplicity,elegance and it all looks and plays a bit nicer,but honestly I am sick of microsoft's shit with the xbox live crap,the fee's (witch will probably change since that system isn't set in place still) and now the (almost) always on DRM?!Nope,I would much rather go to the PS4,and now that I look back on it,if the PS3 had the same price I would have bot it.I just really hope the online play will be free and a bit better.I'm still pissed at jim for his lack of doubt,EVEN if he is a journalist!He lost my credibility.

I just felt the need to point out that Jim isn't acting as a journalist, at least not in this capacity. Jimquisition is purely an "editorial" or an opinion piece. It has never been an objective view on anything occurring on the industry and it has never claimed to be. This is the "entertainment" section of The Escapist. Jim is simply giving you his opinion in his capacity as an entertainer.

Haven't really kept up to date with whats coming out for the Xbone but it sounds horrific.

Surely Microsoft must know that lots of people are spending most of their 'TV' time on the internet. Why would I bother browsing the web on a console? Until recently my 360 was gathering dust next to my PC, until I gave it to my cousin as his 360 died.

yeah,all of the hate was a load of nonsense,since half of the things they are complaining about are still in the works since they aren't hardware and can be changed at almost any time.The press conference and the half truth interviews where the reason shite hit the fan.All in all,i have faith in microsoft not to fuck it up THAT much,and i feel one of the main selling points isn't revealed for both of these consoles,their selling points.If i had to make a prediction,the PS4 is the way to go because of the kinect shipping with the console,which means bigger prices,the bad publicity they got and most importantly the fact that half of the things they focused on at the conference wasn't going to mean jack in my country.
