at least Twilight has normal spelling and grammar.
(not that I read it but it,s a assumption)
Spelling, yes. Grammar, less so [http://reasoningwithvampires.tumblr.com/].

Don't tell me a Harry Potter comic book.

Or by the look of the art. A Harry Potter Claymation series.

Prequels? *yawn* :p
Okay; As I don't know what you've read before I'll give you some different stuff.

I assume that you've already read some of Tolkien's work, but if not, you should read that too.

Old Kingdom-series by Garth Nix, first book Sabriel, low to mid fantasy, target age 16-20

Discworld-series by Terry Pratchett, first book Colour of Magic, order of read doesn't really matter, but I recommend starting with the first ones, target everyone with a sense of humour.

The Warrior-series by Josefine Ottesen (Danish), first book On the Furthermost Island, low fantasy/viking, target mostly boys age 18+

Black Magician-trilogy by Trudy Canavan, first book The Magician's Guild, mid to high fantasy, target mostly girls

Age of the Five-trilogy by Trudy Canavan, first book Priestess of the White, mid to high fantasy, target mostly girls

Shadowmarsh-series by Tad Williams, first book Shadowmarsh, mid fantasy, target fantasy readers
(anything by Tad Wiliams really)

Malazan Book of the Fallen main-series by Steven Erikson, first book Gardens of the Moon, dark fantasy, target experienced fantasy readers

Malazan Book of the Fallen spin-off-series by Steven Erikson and Ian C. Esslemont, first book Night of Knives, dark fantasy, target main-series readers

Chronicles of the Black Company-series by Glen Cook, first book The Black Company, mid/dark fantasy, target fantasy readers

Necronomicon (collection) by H.P. Lovecraft, horror fanatsy, target people who read in broad daylight/people who don't mind not sleeping/ people who like awesomely written literature

That should keep you reading for some time ;)
Feel free to ask more about any of these, or anything else for that matter.
Oh, wow. Cool list bro. And yeah, I read the Hobbit just like everyone else. And just like everyone else had a brain hemorrage trying to get into the first Lord of the Rings book.

The "Social Network" idea sounds interesting, though I doubt it's likely the creators would want to compete with Twitter and Facebook.

I think it's about daughter of Harry Potter. And she married Alan Moore but cut one "o" because she have already double "t". Turns out that Alan is most powerfull wizzard on the world but he refused his magic gift and start with drugs... and comicbooks. Long story short dear Lilli Pottermore fall into drugs AND comicbooks and live happy with Alan. But dark sorccerer S. Lee also known as "The man who created wolverine" broke into theyr house and kill Alan with his deadly claws. But Lilli escape and swear to destroy this old duchebag for every cost.

Ahh, hehe, good, good. Not the haemorrhage though..
Silmarillion is also a quite good read, much better than the trilogy.

I've read "My Immortal". It took me 3 years to heal afterwards, but I read it. It's still less painful than Twiglet.
It can't be worse than Firefly fanfic. X-Men + Riddick + Star Wars? Seriously?

Anyway, I'm not thrilled to be seeing more Harry Potter anything. The books were a little more than mediocre and very poorly written in places. I have them all somewhere, and will reread them from time to time, in much the same way that I'll still play Spyro the Dragon. Just a quick fix of my childhood.

I was betting on an MMORPG but I'm sure a social network will make fans just as happy (to keep giving Rowling their money).

Honestly I always thought a Harry Potter MMO would be neat. It's a huge universe, everyone has magic powers, there's plenty of creatures to fight ect.

When i came to this thread I was worried JK was putting out another Potter book. I'd hope she'd start a new series about something completely different, I love her writing style.
