I just read that a movie called "Johnny Bravo goes to Bollywood." Is arriving sometime this year, (internationally according to Van Parting.)
Does this mark the return of Johnny Bravo?
Cartoon Network may just suck significantly less now

More Jeff Benett is always a good thing. Johnny Bravo was one of my favorite cartoons back in the day.

Now if it's Johnny Bravo with a different VA... I'll pass.

Johnny Bravo is awesome. That was one of my favorite cartoons when I was growing up. I really hope it comes back, though I'm not sure what he has to do with Bollywood.

I would totally watch it. Cartoon Network, although it still airs a couple of good shows, has sadly decreased in quality over the years and that's NOT just the nostalgia talking.

The plot is was described to me as:
"Johnny Bravo runs out of his favorite hair gel, and the only way he can reclaim his supply is by traveling to main factory in Bollywood."

Wasn't Bollywood India's version of Hollywood? Sounds interesting, but I wonder if the character will be greatly changed from having been produced in another country. Will the overall style of the film be different enough to turn away Bravo fans?

I don't know, I'm just throwing stuff out there.

Edit: I read your post wrong. I thought you were saying th cartoon was being made there. Hahaha... sorry.

I could go on for hours about how many bad choices CN has made over the years.

OT: I really hope so..

Well, with the built in theme it seems like this would be more likely to be a CN movie rather than a resurrection to the series. Perhaps to gauge interest in resurrecting it. So if you like it, support it, buy it on dvd if they release it, and maybe, just maybe you can get it back on the air with new episodes.

Y-y-y-yowza! This is... Beautiful!

Now if it doesn't suck, balance will begin to be restored to television for kids.

As much as I dearly love Johnny Bravo, I predict this ending in tears. Cartoon Network has been nothing but depressing and disappointing over the last few years and I doubt that will change soon.
