Ok we all have seen a movie where the bad guy says join me or die/be destroyed/suffer/ect. What would that movie be like if our hero said ok?

I think that if Luke only let his dad explain that the empire had a dental plan and he joined up then there would still be balance in the force just fewer alien races and other forms of trouble makers. After all Luke would not become evil, just enforce order and possibly serve as a counterbalance to his dad. It was the emperor that did all the screwed up shit in the films Vader was more of a yes man/ enforcer.
We already know that Luke brought his dad back from the dark side, so given time we could have had some real family bonding and maybe given Leia a new planet to be princess on.
