Simple doesn't mean it can't still look great. Windwaker...

And Windwaker had very advanced and stylized cel-shade graphics that stand the test of time TO THIS DAY. It was a masterpiece type decision of graphics. The Witness just looks mundane and lazy, and definitely not like a PS4 title should.

It's got great shadows, reflections, incredible vegetation and while not as stylized as Windwaker, it isn't blandly designed. I'm not going to be able to convince you to like something you don't, but it's far from lazy.

Game looks very pretty but on the uninspired side overall. We've seen a lot of this dance in Myst and its offspring before.
