You're not a comedian and that's the worst oxymoron I have ever seen, so don't go there (and no, sarcasm can't be applied here).

2. Oxymoron: A figure of speech containing two contradictory elements, such as "deafening silence".
"War might have a silver lining" is not an oxymoron, unless you define war as "a conflict with no upsides to anyone, ever". Which it isn't.
3. I wasn't being sarcastic. Or funny. It was an actual statement.
4. You seem to think that the "silver lining" would be "the death of these people". It's not. The silver lining would be that people grow a damn sense of perspective when it comes to "feeling safe".
