...it is in shambles.

You want evidence? Lay your eyes on this:

Ladies and gentlemen. Your Escapist newsroom writers are nothing but liars and cheaters and hacks!! WILL YOU STAND FOR THIS? ...well, technically I can, since this is a kind of blackmail, this. Let this public shaming be an example to you.

I get very bored, very quickly.

Oh snap ace detective right here O.O

OT: whatever man, he just wanted to win a bet not like the actual articles are rigged full of lies and junk. As long as the articles are accurate and enjoyable I doubt "Journalistic integrity" should be brought into question.

I am obviously outraged! What despicable behaviour displayed by Grey Carter, and it is people such as him that have dragged gaming journalism down for so long! Let's get it back to the lofty standards of yesteryear! And other such over-reactionary comments!

Although I must admit I'm surprised that DVS BSTrD didn't get manage to say it within the first 5 posts anyway =P

I don't imagine that bet will end well now that it's obviously been rigged.
(Did somebody just win a bet that a user would state the obvious in the first 5 posts?)

I'm pretty sure that the OP is being purposefully overtly smug and taking a position of righteous indignation for the sake of a few giggles.

OT I'm sure I saw Grey thank someone else for making a predictable comment on the recent Critical Miss about War-Z. Now, I don't know who to trust, is it ALL A LIE??

Escapist, you are teh bias.
For shame, for shame

I am both shocked and appalled. We now return you to your currently scheduled dose of forum madness.

And he would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for these meddlin' commenters and their darn talking dog!

That's one of the problems with the Escapist, I think.

Nobody freaking talks to each other.

I cannot stand for this.

I'm currently sat down at my desk, standing up would look suspicious.

And this is the reason why the only "journalists" I follow on Twitter are Grey and Jim Sterling.

Oh snap!

Man, if only I could ever get in on those articles within the first five posts.

The silly sense of humor is why I like people like Grey or Andy Chalk writing news articles, anyway.

So... Now to lurk, wait for Grey to post news, then immediately post a non sequitur to ruin bets.

Well, I guess we didn't ever say you couldn't state the obvious yourself.
Fine. You win. x( This time.

I will be the one who rigs the bet first next time!

Note to self: Always pre-rig bet before gambling with Grey.

Well, in fairness, he did totally ask first. Also, rigging bets between friends is totally how it's done, yo! Journalistic integrity begins and ends with carefully allotted commentation and sourcing! Gods help him if we had known about that, and released some trolls into the thread.
