JPRG's and Armor

Dragon Age, thats pretty good at it from the WRPG side of things.

As for JRPG, prolly go with something like FFX

I can't think of a JRPG since about... oh... Final Fantasy 6 (maybe 7? can't remember >.<) or so that even gave you the option for wearing for-real armor instead of something silly like bangles or shields or rings or... whatever. Point is, most JRPG's don't even use armor as armor. Odds are you're using something that a WRPG would class as an "accessory" as armor =p

I dont see any problem with it... I would much rather have arty character-designs than to have indecipherable characters all wearing bronze/silver armour

though I generally dislike having customisable characters (in terms of appearance that is)

Dragon Quest IX has customizable armor... so will FF Gaiden when it's out.
