The following is a thought exercise, all you have to do is judge the following statement.

"There is nothing wrong with talking to yourself so long as you don't talk back."

But the statement is judging me, it says I shouldn't talk back when I say something to myself, and I do that all the time, I don't see what's wrong with it, that's a bad statement, I guess.

On topic: I am a mixed-style learner. I work best when I get all three styles (oral, visual, kinaesthetic) so I talk to myself when I'm working through something, it helps.

I try not to judge. Some people talk to themselves to work out their thoughts easier, while some don't. It's pretty harmless, though of course it is a little off-putting to other people around you if you do it in public.

Well, the ball arrived first, but the slide beat the tag. The statement is safe, scoring the game winning run.

Replays would later indicate that I got the judgement call wrong, but because MLB is too stupid to put in replay for calls like that, the statement's team gets to win.
