Are you being serious or are you poking at the 3.21 firmware update (that was pretty freakin' lame Sony).
I thought it was a hardware change to cut down the price of ps3 models, that's why only 60 gig models (like mine) have backwards compatibility and later models do not.

No, if you have one of the older models you can play them but not the slims.
I believe its released on PS2/Xbox/360 and PC

It was actually released to the last gen, but wound up on the 360 as well.
All I know from my experience with it is it keeps overheating my PC ¬__¬

But you find probably find the PS2 version somewhere, it will be backwards compatible with your PS3.

I don't think it was, mainly because it was god damn awful, and I mean it was awful beyond words.

JC2 is quite worth the money trust me I got it and I have yet to put it down.

Just Cause 1 is not the best game ever made, but it is easily one of the most visually appealing time-killers ever made. It's one of those games you can pick up for an hour or two at a time and just explore, run amok, or complete side missions. Yeah, it's very repetitive and not very deep, but I don't think that it was ever intended to be.

I played and put it down rather fast. I can't get JC2 cause I can't play it on DX9. yup, it douth not worketh for thine windows XP. ****. Why is life so cruel?
