Just Cause 2 and it's grappling hook

Just Cause 2 is a sandbox game which will be out in 2010. One of it's features is a grappling hook,and it's functions is more than just getting from place to place and hijacking a stray aircraft. With this hook,you can connect objects with environment,or connect any two movable objects in the game world. You can see some of it's uses in a gameplay trailer. The question is,what will you do with this grappling hook? I would try to connect two enemy helicopters to make them crash,tie helicopter to a tank or scenery to limit it's mobility (or again,make it crash). Or even make a slingshot by some complex manipulation (if it will be possible). And so on.

Failing to attach an enemy to a plane, we already know tha you can drag them behind your motorbike - off I go off the highest cliff there is, then either hook onto a nearby plane and fly away, or parachute to safety. Mwahahaha! Mercenaries can suck it, I am properly excited for this game.

You know, I think Prototype and Infamous have showed sandbox game developers that we want to play as an unrealistic badass (ala Saints Row 2) rather than a realistic one (ala GTA IV.)

This game really wasn't on my radar until I saw this video, now I'm actually looking forward to it. They've really done a number on the gameplay in the best way possible!

the grapling hook is improved well but im more looking forward to the much improved game play, also the graphics are 100% better than the other one

I am still a firm proponent of paragliding behind anything that moves. Also, if you think the game was bad... you probably didn't play it on PC. Or use the parachute.

I liked the first one.....I like jumping off high planes and crashing in the water......it was a good game to me, Just Cause 2 looks awsome but we still dont know....im gonna rent it but its gota have things to do after the main story....and also new features........you wanna know what I wanna do.......

Im gonna get a plane and one guy....ONE guy and drag him around in a jet plane and make him hit the water at high speed, go very high, disconnect him and get out and try to attach him again and get my parachute out then go over a high city and let him drop......lol what a death...
