I just downloaded the demo and I'm loving it, personally I'm really hoping this game's gonna be good. I'm just thinking what other people have thought of the demo and whether they're gonna buy the game when it comes out.

looking foward to it, i havent played the first one or the demo but the freedom of the game looks fun. I prob wont buy the game until its a bit cheaper in a couple of years.(unless the demo is epic)

It kinda sucks that there's no XP support - but i will get to it eventually, it's just too good to pass up.

Demo is awesome, you can deploy your parachute and keep grappling the ground and stay flying forever.

Primarily, the voice acting and facial animations suck, but that is only minor I guess.

Secondly, I didn't like the auto-aim, it detracted from the feel of being in control of the character.

And lastly when I hijacked a chopper it just got shot down in about 30 seconds, by constantly respawning enemy air support.

Oh yeah, that leads me to the respawning. It has a similar system to GTA with the cops, or in this case soldiers perpetually coming after you if you so much as look at them.

Other than that it is really fun though, especially when you are flying around with your parachute blowing stuff up

I agree with you on the first point, but apart from that I thought that they'd fixed all of the issues I'd had with the first game.

And to your second point, there wasn't any auto-aim...

The demo wanted me to run the game on all low, despite the fact I get 40-50fps maxed out. The optimizing tool sucks!

Well there is for me. When you aim at a guy you can't pinpoint where you want to shoot, it just locks onto a red square on his chest when you get close to aiming at him. Perhaps I meant to say aim-assist, sorry. Either way that mechanic is a bit crap.

I never had that either.

Well, at least its better than the first game, where you only had to have to enemy on screen for your guy to target him.

I loooooooooooooooved the demo. Sticking things together is fun!

I love the demo too, only problem is theres been far too many things out for me to even afford JC2, looks like I'll have to wait a while to get this unfortunately

I just searched around until I found one of those Gas Canisters that shoot up into the sky close to an enemy, God that was funny.
