PROBABLY LOTS OF SPOILERS AHEAD
I absolutely loved it, it took me a little while to get into it but after awhile I saw why the game was so loved, it's an amazing achievement in gaming. I had finished the first one a couple of years ago but I didn't recall a lot of the smaller details. Luckily I was fine with everything in the 2nd. I played the PS3 version and did all the side missions, explored planets etc. I only lost Jack in the final Assault, I think it may have been due to Samara not being loyal, she was the only one I didn't get to loyal status due to failing her mission. Also the Normandy crew all died, guess I should've hurried up and gone to their rescue instead of fucking around for awhile doing side missions >_>
Also, is Arrival worth buying? Where does it fit into the game? I heard it bridges the gaps to ME3 so does it pop up after you've finished the main game or?
Sorry if this topic is a bit pointless. Just wanted to get it out somewhere
Also I played Infiltrator, with a male, Paragon... Finished at Level 29 (so close, bah). I was a little annoyed I couldn't get all the upgrades in the game and do a "100%" job with it. But I understand why they designed it that way. I look forward to doing a 2nd playthrough in the future. Is it better to keep the same character or start a new one?
