I agree with what has already been said, so all I can suggest is something less popular.

Space Station Silicon Valley.
I thought I was the only one who remembered that game, I second this suggestion.

All of the games mentioned with an emphasis on Conker's Bad Fur Day. As for my picks?

Cruisin' USA
Cruisin' World
Turok
Turok 2
Donkey King 64
Mortal Kombat 4
NFL Blitz 2000 (I'm not a fan of sports games but that game was awesome)

I love that console, I wish I still made mine.....

Donkey Kong 64.

If you like Mario 64, you'll probably enjoy DK.

I think it may be the game Rare has made.

Hmm weird clock must be wrong, says it 2012, but that can't be right.

Well anyways while I'm here (or now?) I would recommend Goldeneye, both zeldas, and super smash bros, especially if you can get a couple mates together.

A topic that isn't about wRPGs for once. My savior.

Definitely play Paper Mario.

I cannot recommend this enough.

Paper Mario. Just like LilithSlave said. My bro just finished playing the game like yesterday.

Conker's Bad Fur Day is another.

And the original Super Smash Bros. But only if you have a few friends and controllers.

Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. The other two (actually all the other Turok games in general, really) are pretty shit.
Perfect Dark has aged surprisingly well if you can get used to the controls, but you'll need an expansion pack, or you'll be limited to botmatches.
Body Harvest, on the other hand, has not aged well, but if you can get into it, it'll get into you.
I'm even shocked that I'm saying this, but Superman 64 is passable if you get really, really stoned (seriously, you'll need a hookah packed with the stuff that makes you drool on yourself) and all you do is fly around the city, and do nothing else. Oddly serene.

Everyone else has already mentioned everything else I know of.

The Mario Party games were fun. I also suggest Gex: Undercover Gecko and the Banjo Kazooie games, as well as Super Smash which has been suggested a bunch, as I should be. ^_^

Most of the big games have already been said. Here are some things that haven't been said, or should have more emphasis than have been given.

Mischief Makers
Body Harvest
Blast Corps (WHY IS NOBODY SAYING THIS?)
Paper Mario (a bit easy, but pretty damn awesome)
Ogre Battle 64 (a MUST HAVE if you enjoy Tactical RPGs, this game is amazing if you do. Can be passed on if not)
Space Station Silicon Valley
007: The World is Not Enough
Diddy Kong Racing
Mystical Ninja
Goemon's Great Adventure (god, this game rules)
Hydro Thunder
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron

Why must all of you people mention all these awesome older games?!
.... It makes me want to set up the damned thing again!! >.<

OT: It's probably pretty low on the awesome list, but Topgear Overdrive was my absolute favourite racing game from those days.

I had a fairly average fighting game called Dark Rift. You fought with weapons and it was 3d and stuff. Sort of like Soul Calibur in a different universe.

I also had Pokemon Stadium and a few others, but they are already mentioned.

.... Enjoy your time with one of the best consoles! (you should get an SNES too)

tl;dr so I don't know what all was said. Paper Mario 64; Rocket the Robot on Wheels; Pokemon Staidum 1 & 2; Pokemon Snap; Harvest Moon; Custom Robo was really fun on the Gamecube, but I didn't play the one on the N64; I liked Duck Dodgers 64; Earthworm Jim 3D.

Let's see.

Majora's Mask is my favorite N64 game, so I have to say that.
Ocarina of Time
Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie (I like Tooie better)
Harvest Moon 64
Mario Kart 64
Paper Mario
Star Fox 64
Jet Force Gemini
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Star Wars Rogue Squadron/Star Wars Battle for Naboo/Star Wars Episode 1 Racer
Super Smash Bros
Mario Party 1,2,3
Rocket Robot on Wheels (Sucker Punch's early work)
Resident Evil 2 (possibly the best version of the game)
Ogre Battle 64
Mega Man 64 (its Mega Man Legends, but with IMO a better control scheme and smoother graphics)
Pokemon Puzzle League
F-Zero X
Diddy Kong Racing
Blast Corp
Snowboard Kids 1 and 2 (SK2 is my second favorite N64 game)

There, I think that's a good list. Now start playing.

I recomend you sell it and buy a playstation. Then you can play Xenogears and Final Fantasy 7! Or you can be real ballzy and buy a Saturn. I still play it for Panzer Dragoon Saga and Shining Force 3 to this day. Don't tell anyone, but a few years into the future, the playstation gets to be the playstation 2 and becomes the greatest video game system ever. Largest game library and highest game quality, as well as the longest life of any system. Dude, the 21st century is awesome for video games, you are gonna be STOKED when you get here.

Perfect Dark- Golden Eye is alright, but Perfect Dark is much the same thing with an original setting, refined gameplay and a sci-fi focus. I honestly think it holds up better than Goldeneye.

Banjo Kazooie is a fun little platformer/action adventure and the art style has actually aged fairly well, which is more than you can say for a lot of N64 games.

If you like flight sims, Star Fox is a good bet.

Ogre Battle 64 is a little rare/hard to track down, but its a pretty cool RPG/Strategy game

Zelda:OoT is always fun, Majora's Mask is all right too but like 2/3rds of the content is side quests so I have mixed feelings about it, but it's fairly original as Zelda Games go (though if you thought the Water Temple in OoT was bad, the one in Majora's Mask is a goddamn nightmare). Neither game has aged particularly well but the dungeons and puzzles are all well done.

I honestly can't recommend Smash Bros. I don't think it's aged well at all and future iterations like Melee and Brawl do exactly the same thing except better. So unless you're without either, I wouldn't bother.
