Hello fellow Escapists. I just got a scam email from a charming fellow named Jerry Ntai.

Although you might be apprehensive about my email as we have not met before, My name is Mr.Jerry Ntai, Head of Operation Mevas Bank, here in Hong Kong. I have a secured business proposal in the tune of $21.5million for you to handle with me from my bank, If ineterested, Kindly get back to me with your full contact info for more details of this operation.

Now I'm wondering, should I just delete this and forget about it? Or should I try having some fun with Mr. Ntai?

(Also, I remember one website that I'm pretty sure someone here posted a link to about people going along with scam emails. If anyone has that link or knows what site it is, I'd like to know.)

I'm thinking I'll pretend to be interested, then after leading him through a hopeless series of events I'll scare him by pretending to be an FBI or CIA agent who has tracked his address. Or something like that.

one, don't waste a forum with this, and too, fuck with him a little and see if he will give you any money if it's not fake.

Say: "While under normal circumstances, Mr. Ntai, I would be obliged, and, indeed, even glad, to assist you, I have come upon hard times, and I would be unable to afford the bank fees to accept whatever money transferring you may have in mind. However, if you would so gratiously lend me, say, 20,000 dollars, I would be able to free up my own account, whereupon I could assist you with yours. I am sure you could ask your business associates for monetary assistance, should you be in an equally poor situation as I.

Humbly yours,

Chet Yubetcha

PS: Your english is remarkably good for a Chinese national.

One, don't waste a forum with this, and two, fuck with him a little and see if he will give you any money if it's not fake.
Fixed your quoting, and a few other bits.

Now, one: Why shouldn't he make a topic about this? There is discussion.
And two: I'm pretty sure there's no chance of this being real.

Might as well check and no one should bother with things that people get every day as a forum
