Maybe this is just me but every time I see a person got banned or put on probation for something I always have to check the forum they posted on to see what they said. I'm not sure why its so intriguing. And just so I don't have a discussion value of me too and never I'll ask, If you were given a box and told to never look inside or you would be punished in an undisclosed manner would you risk it? Or could you contain your curiosity. I would probably end up looking.

I always check out why people were banned, either for humor or so I know what NOT to do a little better.

And no, I don't have too much curiosity when it comes to things. Unless it had the possibility of being something suuuuuupernatuuuuuuuural.

MUST RESIST URGE TO LOOK IN BOX...... Fuck it I'm looking in the box I don't care about the undisclosed punishment because while I'm opening the box I can lie to myself that the punishment is going to be a stern look by some random person.

I ALWAYS look, its just the wonder of not knowing something, and it makes me angry to no end when the entire post is deleted or I can't find why someone was banned

I always look in the box. There is no consequence to me. The outcome is the outcome. Not looking at the box will not allow me to evolve as a person.

Alternatively, no. I do not look over the forum/thread/post that had placed the user on probation or had the poster banned. That has the consequence of wasting my time since I already know how to avoid a similar fate.

I usually click their names out of curiosity as well. And I wouldn't open the box. Pandora did that once and looked what happened. Dick move gods, dick move

I have an obsession with doing that. I love seeing what people have done wrong. It's like trying to overhear the teacher tell off the student.

I lost interest in that after my own probation. It wasn't as mysterious anymore, seeing where people fucked up.

I always check the reason people get suspended/banned, the reason is usually funny.

I wouldn't look in the box though.

I tend to look. Especially if it's someone I recognise. Though sometimes you then have to back-track massively and read a huge argument full of flaming to get the context, but meh. It's frequently vaguely entertaining.

And yes, box. Curiosity's pretty powerful. And there's a fair chance that benefit of item in box outweighs undisclosed punishment.
Like if the box has bacon, and the punishment is a disapproving look.
