Did you grind the main quest or do a lot of side missions as well? I have almost 40 hours of gameplay on my file and haven't beaten it yet. Not even close, as far as I can tell. But I do every side task I find and delve deep into the dialogue and all of the characters side plots. I'm a sucker for story and immersion.
Oh. Nope, just did the story. I'm a sucker for story too, but that's just main story. I usually ignore sidequests in games (unless there's an achievement or decent reward for it)

Only an MMO addict thinks DA:O is a short game. That's the most insidious aspect of the genre, really.
I haven't touched an MMO in about a year dude.
Apologies.

Still, don't be incredulous when you talk about completing a relatively lengthy game in two days. That's not really the games fault, at that point.

I suggest sunlight. It helps you look less like a zombie after being enslaved by WoW.

Also, you've never really quit WoW until you delete your characters.
or sold them
I did that! I got a terrible deal though...

When you quit WoW, did you make sure to screencap yourself just throwing away all your best and rarest items?

It's not a proper exit if you can't post something that will make lesser players weep and tear their clothes.

And I am terribly bored. Someone suggest something to occupy my time please?

If you're going to suggest playing another game or watching a film or reading a book, please have some suggestions/recommendations :D

EDIT: Have already played/killed Oblivion and Fallout 3 but thanks for the suggestions :D

EDIT: Although I played WoW I am still physically active. I go running, take the dog out, go to the Gym with my friends. No need to tell me to go running guys! Haha.
Add 2 more miles to your run =P

Also I agree with the others, Gardening is very close to a zen experience if you know how to do it...and its a sunny day.

Torchlight passes the time for as long as you can play it. Assassin's Creed 2 and/or FFXIII are both good choices if you have the respective systems.

i will suggest........
...
umm...
...
hmmm....
...
OH!!!
learn something. new language, how to program, how to pick up chicks, or, alternatively, you can drive around to your friends houses (or job sites) and ice them.

also, go to the gym by yourself. going with your freinds is fine but for me at least they tend to be a distraction.

Splinter Cell: Conviction is a good way to burn some time. Final Fantasy 13 is my next purchase.

Team Fortress is amazing, and like WoW, it has a huge support network and community surrounding it. Definitely worth a shot.

Congrats on quitting though. My little brother is still addicted to it.

Take up Magic: The Gathering. It's both time consuming, and costs money. IT'S JUST LIKE WoW!!!

(Yes I do play Magic.)

Read:

David Eddings
New Star Wars Fate of the Jedi Series (If you haven't read the other books, you'll want to read most of those first, particularly the New Jedi Order and Legacy of the Force. With over 60 books, you'll be set.)

Other than that, just peruse your shelves see if there's any games you haven't finished off yet.

WoW can be classified as an actual addiction, because players go through the same stages of withdrawal, such as, say, a tobacco user.

I suggest learning some sort of art form
Sketching, Drawing, Painting, Sculpting, that sort of thing
very time consuming and can take years to master

You could also go on youtube, start with 1 video, clicked related videos, and see where it takes you

Some friendly advice about trying to get away from MMOs: don't come to the Escapist announcing that you are trying to get away from MMOs. We'll only have fun pulling you back like the demons of the pith that we are.

On a more serious note, I feel your pain. I've been MMO free myself for about 3 months, now (played WoW for 3 1/2 years, then Warhammer for about a year, then moved on to Aion for about 6 months; I quit after Aion). Oh, I've done good so far, but the withdrawal symptoms are starting to be felt. Maybe we should form an MMO Anonymous to help recovering MMO addicts.

EDIT: and, dududf, what the hell avatar is that? That's crazy, man(I like it)!

Such as?
I'd suggest something... Different to your normal Genre, or what you normaly play.
If you play MMO's, try an FPS. :)

If you havn't already, I'd suggest playing... Something from the Total War series.
Rome, or Medieval II :)
but thats just my opinion. :)
