Wait... as long as Sean Bean is in it, I'll see it. If Patrick Stewart is in it, I'll see the first showing.

Though here me now, the movie will suck. We all have our own character who has a story and I will not be okay with seeing some Imperial guy in place of my Dark Elf lady. I think a movie based in the TES world would be awesome, just not based on Oblivion.

Morrowind would be better, because you could theoretically create a proper Nerevarine based off of Inordil Nerevar.

Wait, do a freaking Arena movie. Barely any Oblivion fans have played it and should get a taste of the story. Don't base it off the quest itself and really divulge into the story, including Barenziah's part and so on.

So, if the movie follows the spirit of the game's story, it's going to follow Martin while he does his research stuff and is occasionally visited by an anonymous but elite Knight Brother (of the blades) who is bringing him the next piece of the puzzle. Oh joy.

If they do make an Oblivion film, they should use just 5 or 6 actors. You know, like what the game did.

It could make a TV show. Every week is a different quest, with seasons spanning a few quest-lines and bits of the main story.
