Edit: The boy apparently called Justin gay, which is why he is going to take a stand against homophobia. Which makes me think, is he actually gay?
Who cares? If he is, what difference does it make?

And I think he has confirmed that he is.

Damn, Bieber is such a badass. Don't fuck with him or he'll pinch and slap you like a little *****.
*sigh*
This story sucks. It'd be far better if he'd belted the little kid in the face and then curb stomped him. Guess pop stars these days just don't have it in them to assault someone properly.

I think anyone who posts a Justin Bieber thread is saying something wrong. And you should hit that person. With a stick.

LAZOR TAG: SRS BZNESS.

I think no one should care. Sure, he hit the kid and the puffiest way imaginable without involving a whip, but if I was sixteen and some little prick called me gay I'd give them a clip roun the ear (or beat them with the butt of the laser gun, if I was really into it).
I would shove my leg up his ass... Just like Red does it!

So the kid called him gay. And he responded with...a slap? Not really disproving the point there Justin. XD

I mean either way, if he isn't gay, a punch would've been more...well I wouldn't say acceptable, because why would you get so offended over an insult that weak and why would you hit a kid unless you were that granny that shot that one 12 year old? XD

If he is gay, why would he be offended at being called what he is? I mean really?

Well, I'm not gay, so I guess I can't really speak for gay people, but do gay people usually get offended by being called gay? I mean "Gay" not queer or fag or anything else like that. Just curious.

Good on Bieber for sticking up for himself against the bigger kids.

He's what every other nine year old should strive to be.

I think that if I had my every move as a 16-year old chronicled and put on display, I'd have a lot more to answer for than Justin Bieber. He's not a entertainment-tron, he's a kid. Kids do dumb stuff. Most of just have the luxury of not having our mistakes talked about on TV.
You are right Susan but the question is where is the accountability when kids do dumb stuff. Sure sometimes people do get away with things because people keep their mouths shut but when things do happen and are reported the question comes is there going to be a punishment that is fit for the child to ensure something like this isn't going to happen and that the child should learn that although in a unique position should learn that the hatred by the majority actually holds no warrant and shouldn't worry about what they think.

If there is anyone I'd like to hear from it is the parents and what are they going to do after everything is found out and a reasonable punishment for Beiber if he did assault another kid like being grounded or doing hard labor.

It is the unique situation Beiber and the next generation is in because the reality is that there really is no age limit to building a portfolio and gaining experience and selling that portfolio. This is radically different to the hybrid that is Gen. Y where half are being exhibitionists getting to post their opinions(researched or not) online, posting their art and posting videos while the other half is more reserved and was basically taught to only brag when you have a real achievement, a medal, win a competition, something where you win and not just participate, or where posting your school work online should only be done when it is published in a newspaper. That basic age barrier is gone and employers are sorta latching onto that but it only works if the candidate is able to sell themselves by having all that experience even if it was making youtube videos.

Beiber is going to have to get used to his unique lifestyle but realize that he is hopefully getting millions of dollars as people decide to assign the value of Beiber to be watched and adored like any other child actor star.
Well, you've hit the nail pretty squarely on the head here. In normal circumstances, this would be up to the parents of both children to deal with, and probably require not much more than an apology and/or grounding or something. But these aren't normal circumstances. Bieber is a celebrity, and is therefore held to a different (and utterly unfair) standard. He should absolutely be held accountable for whatever it is he did, but the public aren't the ones that should be doing the holding.

The appropriate response in the case of laser-tag, just stalk the kid around the whole course and pick him off continuously.

When someone puts a laser pistol in your hand, physical violence is not necessary.

And for goodness sake, enough with the Bieber Fever! I thought this was a gaming site!

Im torn, on the one hand, he struck a twelve year old over petty insults. On the other hand, that twelve year old probably could have taken him.

This is sad that we even care.
Yes. Yes it is. It's sad that there is enough care that it's "News"-worthy. Merely mentioning they had a story on JB probably gave those shows a ratings boost.

Hey JB - Tom Brady wants his hairstyle back.

That's pretty funny to be fair. I did loads of mad things at that age so it and its a shame that his every move is monitored so he has to act perfect.

However its still hilarious that this happened and I expect more things like this to come.
