As much as I'd like to say this is a non-issue, that someone that just happens to be the parent of someone famous isn't automatically an expert on whatever they are talking about...

This sorta is reasonably important. Being related to Justin Bieber gives her voice weight. Now, not a massive amount of weight in the grand scheme of things, but enough to make a difference.

No offense, but the first thing I thought when I read the thread title was "Who gives a shit what JB's mum thinks?"

My mum is pro-life for the most part, but understands that there are desperate situations sometimes and would not expect a thirteen year old rape victim to keep their rapists baby, for example.

Do you care about that? I do, but sure as Hell don't care what Mrs Bieber thinks, or your mum for that matter.

On the topic of abortion itself, I share my mum's views. The decision to abort is essentially murder. You are stopping someone from existing. And yes, they might grow up to be a famous singer, or the dude that stops climate change or cures cancer or whatever. You need to be highly conscious of this, and it is understandable people find abortion abhorrent. I do think however that the mother should have the right to make that choice, since it is her body. But it should never ever be a casual thing.

I cant be the only one and what about all the alternitivs like "if the mother cant afford the child" there is always adoption or just be responsible with sex or you know getting your tubes tied. And the best part is not to many pro choicer's state how the baby is aborted, they either suck it up ripping it apart or cut it up with a sharp spoon(not proper word but bear with me)not only that but it can feel pain after 8 week's, if we killed anyone else like one that was born it would be considered a brutal murder.
