Kaspersky

I was considering purchasing Kaspersky for my computer, and was wondering if anyone could provide feedback on if it is good or not. I'm currently using Avast, and I don't care for porn or torrent, so I don't have many problems with viruses as it is now. Or do I really even need to worry about getting something above free?

If you're the careful sort on how you go about using the net, you really don't need commercial AV.

That said, when I recommend commcerial AV to people I recommend either ESET/NOD32 or Kapersky. I personally prefer ESET but it can be a bit of a control freak if you don't use the advanced options... which is a bit of an information overload for some.

Dont buy Kapersky, its incredibly intrusive, slows down your computer and whilst it will block you from installing 90% of games it will allow a goddamn keylogger to waltz in and take root.

tl;dr dont buy Kapersky, its a turgid pile of dogshit.
