I upon cleaning my keyboard used up 15 q-tips to just clear up the loose dirt.

Are your keyboards as dirty?

Yes.... mine is pretty dirty. I've tried cleaning it, but the shit just doesn't come off.

I just clean my keyboard with a wet cloth once every week or so. I don't try to clean the spaces in between the keys.

I have a multitude of things on my keebord such as,

dirt, dust, some really small crums of bread, a giant line of blue ink from when a pen exploded, what looks like paint, blood, and probably a lot more.

Og god it's bad, especially since I removed my windows keys, and it's an old keyboard with the big gaps between the keys.

Seriously, that last line was an invitation.

Anyway, on topic, I simply turn my keyboard upside-down and shake it around a bit every now and then, seems to be enough. Heh.

I clean the surface but not the spaces in between the keys or edges of the keyboard. Which normally isn't that bad but since my keyboard has a backlight you see all the grime between the keys pretty easily.

Mine is surprisingly clean... I wonder how that is...

I suspect that dust-bunnies are burring deep into the keyboard for their eventual liberation of the keyboard. I think the Caps Lock key is allied with them...

I don't clean mine, but there's little stuff like dust and tiny crumbs on it. Other than that, it's fine (I try not to eat messy food at the computer, but my brothers don't really care)

I'm kind of OCD so I clean my laptop, mouse, screen, etc very regularly. Keyboard is pretty much spotless

I have a thing about keeping my hands clean when I use electronics so that my keyboard and controllers don't get disgusting.

I just wish they'd have someone go around and clean off the 'boards in the computer lab at college. There's so much grime the white keyboards actually start turning brownish-gray.

Surprisingly, i have never had to clean my keyboard. It just hasn't gotten dirty enough i suppose. It seems a bit odd now that i think about it, considering how long i have had my laptop.

Can't say I clean mine very often. I'm the only one that uses it, and it tends to stay fairly clean as is, at least in terms of the inside. Sometimes the top needs a bit of cleaning.

Keyboards accumulate stuff that you've never even seen before in them.
