I dont know how, but when somebody gave me the computer im using, some of the keyboard's keys don't do what they're supposed to do. like, i have to hold shift and press period to do an apostrophy, and pressing the original apostrophy key gives me this: è.

Anyways, i was wondering if anyone knows how to correct this. I've heard you can, but I'm not sure how.

You seem to have the French Canadian Keyboard. I have no idea how to get it back to what English speakers use, considering that's never happened to me.

try unplugging it and plugging it back in..check for driver updates or go into the control panel and check the settings.

This, although it should be in the accessibility options in the control panel somewhere. Just change it back english from there and you should be fine.

They switched the keyboard layout. Just go to options somewhere, change it back to English, and it'll be fine.

if you're under XP
Start -> Control Panel -> Regional and language options -> click the language tab -> click on details -> change it to English (Canada) (i guess you're in CAN if you got a FrCan keyboard) -> Profit!
