Nnnnooooo, not Nicholas Cage! That man can't act for his life!

Speaking as one of the people who actually read the comics, I'm actually quite impressed. There was a lot of frustration about the comics and how each issue was repeatedly delayed for some silly reason or other, especially when the movie was announced after only three issues of the comic, and even moreso when the plot synopsis contained far more... well, plot than the comics actual.

So it's nice to see that thus far, the movie still retains much of that spumky inapproriateness (in the good way) that made the comics so entertaining.

Still, nicholas cage....

Showed the red-band trailer to my wife, she's uninterested in seeing a foul-mouthed little girl killing a bunch of mob-types (despite my saying she's not even the star character.)

I'll go see it, get some buddies and hit up a matinée.

That actually looks very good, if a little cheesy... And I do usually enjoy the movies of Nicholas Cage. Quite funny, I was laughing through so much. And my jaw actually dropped when she said ****. Awesome.

I have to agree with MovieBob here, and say that he does crazy very well.

If only this movie didnt look so terrible. Kick-Ass is...well, Kick-Ass in the comics. It's awesome, with a hilarious concept that works so very well. However, from all the trailers and sneak peeks ive seen of the film version Nicholas Cage is the only one who looks any good at all. This should have stayed on the pages and off the screen, at least like this.

Well I never thought I'd see an 11 year old with purple hair say the word 'cunts'. I must see this. Hilarity will ensue.

The only thing that bugs me about this movie is that Kick-Ass is the only one who's outfit looks the same as it does in the comic. Big Daddy looks almost exactly like Batman, Hit Girl has some difference to her costume and Red Mist's outfit doesn't have that mask in the comic. It's more like a bandana and he doesn't have that chest emblem in the comic.
