I understand that carrying the list around the school is foolish, but what if he was going to the trashcan to throw it away? (Note: Didn't watch both videos, couldn't take that much stupid.)
Far away from curious eyes lest their names become the next to be written down.[Kira Must Die said:]Keeps your Death Note at home, kids, like me.
Well, I don't know about you all but I had a death list myself at that age. I've grown from the need to have one since then. And also, I have a Deathnote as well. It's empty, but . . . incase I ever do need it, I have it. Sure it's mostly a souvenir and something to tell my friends that watch anime "hey, look at this haha" but remember . . . you never know for certain what the future will hold. Dangerous perhaps, but so are guns and knives . . . and they can also save your life.teh_pwning_dude said:I've had kids at my school with death lists. You can get in a lot of trouble for them.
This makes sense.

how they portray the death note as a notepad i found to be a little funny
Internet Kraken said:If this kid turns into an outcast because of this incident, then it's completley his fault. I really can't criticize someone for not wanting to hang out with a kid who writes the names of people he hates down in a Death Note. Even if it is a way to just vent anger, it's still disturbing.Eyelicker said:God damn. From the fact that one mum got all over protective shows she's probably always spoiled her child and made him feel "special", thus turning him into the bully he allegedly is, and now the bullied kid gets suspended, and probably faces even further social ostrasism due to all this going so public.
How would you feel if it was your name he wrote down? I wouldn't want to be near him. I think it's creepy. It's hard for me to sympathize with him when he did something like this.Seems like they're exsasberating the problem a bit here. The bullies get the victim card, and probably be even worse to the poor kid, meanwhile the kid ends up feeling even more alone and victimised, by the whole community now, not just some kids.
Also, you don't know exactly what these "bullies" have done to him. When I was his age, I certainly exaggerated the amount of people picking on me. Mostly this was because I had become so paranoid that I couldn't trust anyone. I imagine he could easily be doing the same, and the so called "bullies" may have done almost nothing wrong.
I was picked on a lot at that age, but I never wished death upon my tormentors. Nor did I imagine killing or torturing them to relieve stress. I just wanted them to go away. I'm not trying to suggest that this kid is messed up. I just think he needs a better way to deal with his emotions. Also, anyone who thinks that there is something "deeply wrong" with the kid has obviously never been bullied at that age. Any kid who does will have some coping mechanism like that, and a simple death note is pretty tame.
That's highly disturbing.I once detailed an elaborate torture chamber for my tormentors, and another time I even started bringing a knife into school...
These comments boggle my mind (not including the OP). You're treating a 12-13 yar old boy as if he's an adult. The fact of the matter is, children don't have the proper coping machanisms to deal with things like osracization properly. This is why bullying is such a huge problem! To say that the child in question is bringing it upon himself and that he should be dealing with these issues himself is absolutely ignorant! He can barely do fractions and you're asking him to contemplate some of the most deep seeded emotional problems he has or find someone who can can help him work through them by himself. Your stupidity in your opinions is astounding and I do hope you realise the error of your ways before you end up tangled in a similar scenario as karmic retribution.RadicalDreamer90 said:-.- Like the saying goes, "Two wrongs don't make a right". The kid has to find other means to help himself and better his life and his self esteem. If the teachers, and faculty refuse to help him, he needs to go further and find the help he needs, not pretend to kill off students he doesn't like (and in this case a pop star he doesn't). Though some may find that this is just another way for Eastern shows to be taken the wrong way, Death Note was about a sadistic vigilante who killed thousands of people. That isn't something a kid should be imitating. So I think the actions taken are fine, he should know that the idea of killing another individual over malice or ill intent is wrong, Death Note has absolutely nothing to do with this.
When i saw that part of the video i nearly fell out of my sea laughing. HAHAHA he has Justin Beiber on his death list. I really hate Justin, she is a horrible singer.Josh_V2.0 said:Hell fucking yes to both of you!NeoAC said:I think the better question is why hasn't it happened yet?Tuddle said:Justin Bieber has a Death Date? But really, she wants that kid arrested? This is just a kid who got a little carried away while thinking about anime.

So, to the OP, I ask this: please do the right thing and go find this kid some help. Talk to your parents, gather some neighbours, get the school he goes to involved, but for the love of God, please get this kid some proper help so that he doesn't end up being another statistic in a bloody memory of another school shooting.
