[HEADING=3]?The Bride will fight again.?[/HEADING] I think this is very exciting news! Even by Tarantino's high standards Kill Bill was a fantastic concept and it was made true in the most unbelievable fashion. I'm a big fan!

Read the report [http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Tarantino-Promises-Kill-Bill-Vol-3-15004.html] on Tarentino's interview with Bad Taste.

?Kill Bill 3 will probably come out, I gotta wait a couple of years, but I want ten years to pass from the second one to the third one.?

So why ten years? Tarantino explains, ?Two reasons. One, I think me and Uma needed a ten year break?. And the second one, I loved the character a lot. I think she deserved ten years to relax. She deserved ten years of no fighting, she deserved ten years with her child Bebe, just of peace. I put her through a lot those first two movies, I want her to have a nice, peaceful life for ten years. I want her to set up her store, and have some peace. But after ten years we?ll make her fight again.?

In ten years Uma will probably be very grateful for the career boost. Apart from QT's films she hasn't really done very well for herself (and no-one mention Gattaca please, she was just fluffy underused window-dressing in that film). A shame really, but that's the way it goes in Hollywood I guess. First you're hot, then you're not.

Its the little black girl from the first slaying in the first movie, out for revenge herself.

I would say that this is overkill and that making a third Kill Bill movie is a terrible idea, as this seems to be eerily similar to what happened with the Godfather series - two movies released within a few years of each other, each just as brilliant as the other (yeah, that's right, Godfather 2 IS just as good as Godfather 1), and then a third entry comes out about 10 or so years later that is so painfully disappointing and inferior to the previous 2 that it makes any fan want to rip their guts out and throw it at the screen in disgust. Then again, this is Quentin Tarantino, one of the best directors of this or any generation. But then I remember Godfather was directed by Francis Ford Coppola, and he made fucking Apocalypse Now, so I'm a little hesitant about the idea, personally.

How about the Evil Dead trilogy?

I've only seen the first Evil Dead movie, and it was probably the worst movie I've ever seen, but it was so bad that I enjoyed it. So, I don't really understand your comment. Are you suggesting that the Evil Dead trilogy is an example of a series of movies that maintained consistently high quality? Because there are a lot of trilogies that did that, but its just when you have 2 movies that are so incredibly fantastic, it's really pushing it when you make a third one, especially when the original narrative doesn't call for a sequel.

Here's hoping one of his characters will be Gogo's sister, a character who had to be cut out due to length problems. Gogo's sister, Sofie, and Vernita's daughter would make a fantastic trio of bad guys for Beatrix to fight.

But how is this movie going to be made without Bill? Bill's dead! And now the actor who played Bill sexually asphyxiated himself. How's this gonna work? Oh well. In Tarantino I trust.

Hmm...Much as the fangirl in me says "OMG MOAR KILL BILL YAAAAYS", the realistic part of me says "Nothing's been good for three movies" plus, the first two nicely tied up loose ends (revenge of the one daughter aside). I didn't think it needed three. Of course I'll watch it though when it comes out.

Evil Dead 1 was decent, not really amazing. But a good little flick.
Evil Dead 2 was just amazingly awesome.
Evil Dead 3 was incredibly amazingly awesome.

Remember that this is Quentin though, it's going to be the end of times if he ever makes a bad movie.

Fixed.
Why do I remember that? It's been at least two years since I watched that particular film.

I can't help but be reminded of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - I just hope it doesn't fall victim to fanservice obligation.
Then again, Quentin Tarantino isn't George Lucas.

I do believe that the original plan was to only create one big Kill Bill movie but that is ended up being so lengthy that they split it in two. That's what it's not called Kill Bill 1 and 2 but Kill Bill Volume 1 and Volume 2.

Those classic revivals like John Rambo, Rocky Balboa and Indiana Jones are hopeless money makers from movie series that should not have been revived. I don't think that Kill Bill can be categorized as such.

[small]And maybe it makes for a great Natal 2 movie tie-in![/small]

Although that's definitely possible I'm not sure if that's really the case. Where do you get that this is "fairly established"?

A third one could work, since the fighting, or lack thereof in Vol 2, left a lot to be desired. Still have Daryl Hannah's character, and the daughter with reason for revenge. I'd rent it.
