I'm scared of using Ebay, maybe its because all my friends and family that buy things off it from "power users" end up being fakes, or maybe its because i'm a pussy.harhol said:It's on eBay all the time. Why, there are 14 auctions going on right now!ColdStorage said:I've not played it, not through lack of trying, just cant seem to get hold of a copy.

Shadow of Collosus, I actually own it, but it doesn't work*.... although the intro is rather sumptious.scnj said:What's the other one?ColdStorage said:I've not played it, not through lack of trying, just cant seem to get hold of a copy.
Killer 7 is sharing top spot of my superstar tag team I want to play, and own!.
Same happened to me. The tutorial of that game has a lot in common with the tooth fairy in that it doesn't exist.The_Deleted said:I did give it a shot but couldn't fathom the control system. Obviously going to have to give it another go since everyone and their mother says it's superb.
Cheers. I'll have another go if I can find it.L.B. Jeffries said:Same happened to me. The tutorial of that game has a lot in common with the tooth fairy in that it doesn't exist.
Here's how you play: every level is a system of rails with items and enemies scattered about. All enemies are invisible until you press the scan button. If you aim at the shiny part on them, you get experience points. Otherwise you just blast them. You can change which of the Killer 7 you're playing as in your inventory. The map marks when you're going to need to use one of their special abilities. Dan is the best character for combat.
Thats because it rather split opinion at the time. Myself, from the day I saw pictures of it in a gaming mag I was hooked because it looked so different from anything else. Then I learn about the plot synopsis of 7 assassins in one personality trying to kill human bombs and well, that was it.GuerrillaClock said:Got Killer7 on launch for my GC... hmm... it's a tough one to call because it positively drips with charm and wackiness and, erm, Japaneseness (half-naked lawyers shooting brains at you, anyone?) but the gameplay was the definition of mediocre. If it's going cheap, give it a go, but much of the recent feverish popularity seems to stem from Yahtzee's praise of it. I remember very little fuss over it when it came out.
Which is why I brought it up; I thought it was underrated. I hadn't heard anything about it outside of Nintendo Power, and just happened to decide to pick it up.GuerrillaClock said:Got Killer7 on launch for my GC... hmm... it's a tough one to call because it positively drips with charm and wackiness and, erm, Japaneseness (half-naked lawyers shooting brains at you, anyone?) but the gameplay was the definition of mediocre.
