Killer Clowns badge?

So I've randomly gotten a badge with the description "Don't Watch Killer Clowns from Outer Space."

I already knew that Killer Clowns from Outer Space was a movie, and the description seemed odd, so I thought that clicking the badge might start an easter egg. Kind of like the spinning button or the Justin Beiber button.

Well it did. A spooky face flies at the screen.

So um...what was the point of the badge? Is it just meant for giggles, or is there a Killer Clowns anniversary or something?

That badge was part of a thing this past Halloween. You got badges for watching certain videos that came out that week, so you could also get F, R, E, and A badges. I forget which videos specifically give the letters, but I expect that's what triggered it for you.
