Yep, that has Suda 51's fingerprints all over it. It doesn't look like anything groundbreaking though, I'll probably give this one a pass.

Maybe if it wasn't so stylized.

Whenever I hear the beginning of the song for this I am reminded of this!
OT: Hm, this looks interesting. I'll check this out some more.
Couldn't help but laugh at Usopp despite the gravity of the scene.

Back to the matter at hand: I wonder if this all makes sense to the Japanese. I get the impression that everyone else had a 'WTF?' moment as with anything attached to Suda51.

Sometimes I wonder if being an LSD addict is an actual job requirement when signing up for development of a Suda 51 game.

Wow, this looks a lot more entertaining than any of Suda 51's recent games. I hope he goes back to something at least reminiscent of the insane, convoluted narratives that characterized games like Killer 7 and Flower Sun and Rain. Gameplay issues aside, his recent work has featured fairly simple, straightforward narratives, which is kind of the polar opposite of what made him famous in the first place.

So it's like somebody took no more heroes and then removed all the retro gaming and replaced it with dubstep?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this the first Grasshopper game not in English? Also, crazy love baby of NMH and Killer7? May finally be time to bite the bullet on a 360. This looks like much more pure Suda51 than Shadow of the Damned or Lollipop Chainsaw.

Interesting...

The name would suggest a sequel, spiritual or otherwise, to Killer 7, but the gameplay looks more like No More Heroes.
My thoughts exactly, and I'm assuming this is the game that Suda had been making "based" on Killer7's world.

I don't know, Suda's games lately have been lackluster to say the least. I'd like to put some faith into this but it looks like they just plan on remaking No More Heroes again.

His games suck. But, i would love to see him direct a movie....would be awesome. Look at The Machine Girl, Tokyo Gore Police or Robo-Geisha. Suda would rule in film media.

Here's what I got out of it: Over the top violence, red blood, plenty of action, superb visual style and classical music married to dubstep bass.

I like it.

Definitely interested.

What I find funny is that Augus' voice actor from Asura's Wrath appears in the trailer and then Dvorak's 9h starts playing.

Not sure if intentional or coincidental.
