True, but cruelty and violence to animals is completely different than human beings killing each other. Which is also a big issue, I mean Lara Croft is killing bears for 10 years now and no one cares. Call of Duty 4 kills islamic crazy people "ITS THE END OF THE WORLD!"
That's the thing: if the game was effective in portraying violence as a terrible thing, people wouldn't want to play it. It'd be unsettling, and that's exactly the point.
