Killing Floor opinions please

I saw the review here already, it was great at being totally ambiguous and not really committal to whether it was a good or bad game.

I'm looking more for positive AND negative opinions on it from people who've played it please.

Yes, i know it's only $5 on Steam for the next 20 or so hours, that's the only reason why I'm even considering buying it.

Well worth it for the price it is currently at, its basically just a hardcore deathmatch version of left 4 dead, would advise playing with friends, more fun (especially with voice chat)

its a good game and alot of fun to play. but id only buy it if you like the waves of enemy style of games.

I got the game and all DLC on a Steam sale and it's great fun. Just a shame there isnt much variation of enemies, but its fun to mess around with different guns and play with friends.

For $5, it's worth it. The gameplay is solid. My only problem with it is that the enemies aren't too varied as I would like them to. Neither are the weapons but I love using the grenade launchers and exploding the enemies into little giblits. Each class only has like 3-4 weapons that are catered to each class (some of them are only one or 2). Headshots are very satisfying. You should play online because single player is very hard as in you get surrounded very fast (especially on the hardest difficulties and you're basically screwed at that point.

I have never played the game. But if it's five bucks and you aren't a very poor person, buy it. I mean that's very little money for a game. Besides, what I've understood it's multiplayer. If you can get friends to get it too, it should be fun atleast at some level. Atleast you could laugh at it's flaws. I buy Arnold Schwarzenegger films for that purpose at the same price.

Yeah, Great fun to be had with this game, lots of custom maps to keep you occupied if you start getting bored. But with a few friends you can have alot of fun, as long as you like trying to survive against hundreds of enemies

Also if you do get it, the difficulties are based off Perk level rather that purely skill. (So don't start out on suicidal or hard thinking it's easy, it's not but it is a heck of a lot of fun)

It is a very, very fun game to play with friends. Many of us on the IRC chat play together regularly and it is most enjoyable.

Its a good game. I got it for 20 bucks a while ago. I enjoy the fleshpound only servers cause you can buy whatever you want. Its its great to play with friends and laugh at the hideous voice acting. Get it

I love it, but I can only really play in sessions of an hour or so. After that it starts to give me a headache.

It's definitely one of those games that requires friends, though. You can play with random people, sure, but there's a lot less communication and the uncertainty of what to expect people to do.

But if you have 2 or 3 (or more) friends willing to play it, I'd definitely recommend buying it.

well worth the 5$. Its pretty fun, its you and 5 other people fighting waves of zombies., and after each wave you get to go buy weapons. You can also go around healing your teamates and weld doors shut for tactical strongholds
