Well the guys at Tripwire Interactive are at it again with another free update. It's been a few months since their "Portal 2" map addon, and now they are adding circus freaks... no really, they are. Kill the bearded woman or the two headed girl. So, enjoy yourself and enjoy the preview of the patch that comes out next week.

Oh God, this is scarier than the normal specimens. Steampunk Mr. Foster looks awesome though.

Looking forward to it.

I think we may have an event patch that can beat the last Christmas update... this is going to be awsome.

It's like the Christmas update. Only more horrifying.

I hope they pay their modelers good at Tripwire, because those guys are... detailed with their work.

I hope they add new weapons.

Dammit, I thought I was done with that game :(

Well I guess its back to being a medic. I get to look forward to more idiots running away while I'm trying to heal them, but it is always hilarious when they die :D

Placing things in a night-time circus always makes it scarier for some reason.

I have a feeling the man-monkey is going to make me jump when he charges.

Heard that they are taking about 1 month on the tanks alone for Red Orchestra 2. I also hope they are making the big bucks with that love and effort for their work.

Meh, just reskinned people with a new level.

Would much rather they give us a new weapon for each class and update the graphics to this century.

Don't get me wrong, I love the game but it does get repetitive very quickly.

I.... why? No, go take your "better graphics" somewhere else and if tripwire doesn't want to add new weapons because it will break the game then I don't want new weapons. The graphics are good enough and the game is fun, that's all that should matter, and if it's the graphics that are holding you back in gaming, then you need to pick up a new hobby. (not you in general, that argument is a plague to gaming, it should be the game play that comes first, not graphics)

I hope they've at least fixed some of the fundamental problems with the learning curve. When a level 5 team gets swamped at stage 3 on Hard, you know there's something a little wrong. Especially when a level 5 Medic can solo upto Paddy.

Graphics don't matter but when the game play and the story line aren't exactly amazing, why do you have to have really old, bad graphics. I don't want crysis style graphics but if you look at minecraft there is a HD graphic skin, so if you can make minecraft look a little HD then why not update KF's look?

I will still play the game no matter how it looks but in this day and age, why not update your graphics? Such an easy/obvious way to make your game so much better.

Since when does new gun = game balance shot to hell?

There are modders out there who have made new guns to go into killing floor and they don't break the game.

Graphics aren't holding me back or stopping me playing them, just why don't they update them? The game looks the same as games from 20 years ago (yay for hyperboles), just refine it a little. Again, I don't want crysis, I just want a touch up.

I agree game play first, graphics second. Neither have been catered to in this "update", there is not much you can do with the game play other than add guns and graphics shouldn't be neglected totally.

If you can update the games graphics, then why not?

Does anyone know if Killing Floor is going to be in a sale again any time soon? I've been meaning to get it for a while but I don't really want to pay £15 for it >.>

Because new guns DO affect the game play, you have to decide how much ammo, power, space weapons take up, that takes testing and a LOT of time to figure out. The game is just fine the way it is, there's already enough weapons for everyone. As far as graphics go, graphic lag would become a problem, the graphics are fine where they are at.

While that is true it just means they will have to pay closer attention to it.

There aren't that many guns to be honest, some are almost identical anyway. Compared to COD which isn't exactly a great FPS has loads of guns, a little time spent balancing and it would be better.

How about an LMG in there, lots of power and loads of ammo in a clip but takes forever to reload and you go really slowly. Might make commando worth a damn then.

Set a graphics scale for it, for super beastly computers lets us have great HD settings and a sliding scale downwards to allow for all different PC's.

You know, like shit loads of other games do ....

Commando is already pretty awesome with the Bullpup, AK-47, and Scar H. In short controlled bursts or precision single shots to the upper torso/head, the commando is one hell of a crowd control.

Well, if your unhappy because a "shit load of other games out there do allow for super beastly computers lets us have great HD settings and a sliding scale downwards to allow for all different PC's.," then let's go write them an angry letter, to tripwire, a small company who won the right use the Unreal 3 engine for being the best mod on lets make something unreal on Unreal tournament 2004, (got their start from there) how "evil" they are for not making games with the best graphics or computers that can support that, and how evil they are for allowing mac users to play their games with PC's.... seriously I could go on, but, it's a small company, they do good work, and I don't sympathize with your argument for better graphics, if it was a bigger company then, yes, yes I would demand blood.
