Killzone 3 Box Art

What are your thoughts on this box art?

I don't really like it, as it's too different from the two previous games. It looks cool enough, but doesn't really fit with the series for me.

If i had never played the first 2 (which I have and own) I would buy that game based purely on the art alone. It's epic!

Meh they are adding two gimmicks to it, 3D and PS Move.

I don't think the game will sell that well after the disappointment with Killzone 2.

Different to the other covers, to me this one looks more generic, reminds me alot of the lost planet covers.
Cant really say im a fan of the killzone games but i did like the art style of the first 2, Hopefully a change of environment doesnt screw with the atmosphere.

I doubt anything can screw with the game more than the Helghast's main rifle. I swear, the thing it the most retarded design for a rifle I've seen outside of the PimpMyGun thread...

Can't say i remember any of the weapons too well, other then the knife. the second game in general wasn't that memorable (felt slow and awkward) .
Everything so far about this 3rd game seems pretty generic, yet the gaming media already seem to be hyping it way above expectation ("OMFG JETPACK" - because that hasn't been done before...)

If it was anything like the first two covers it'd just be another helmet. Now that's boring. It's nice for it to have a change, and even though it's pretty samey with every other FPS out there, I still like it.

Actually, i was just making the point that the second kz game was overhyped by the gaming press therefore most peopl were dissapointed when it was finally released, and they've started once again, i dont have a problem with jetpacks, tanks, mountains etc. its just that once again everyone will be expecting the greatest fps game ever, and when/if it doesnt deliver everyone will be thouroughly let down.
If youd read my post in context youd have seen the point i was making, so get off your high horse.

Its simple and gets the point across. I like it. I do not like the lettering/style/colour/taste of the "KILLZONE 3" title though.
