Game developers are getting more and more selfish. The only way to big bucks is through the multiplayer. Call of Duty capitalized on this idea, why not everyone else? It's sickening.
Back then, campaign was EVERYTHING. If it wasn't good, people weren't gonna get the game. Storyline, dialogue, set pieces, Pro/Ant-agonist. All of these matter when making a good Campaign.
But of course, why listen to the 10,000 that complain about the campaign, when you've got another 2 million buying just for the Multiplayer. Almost 68% of the people who bought Black Ops bought it simply for the Multiplayer and/or the Zombies gamemode.

Ok guys, forum starter here, just letting you know that I played for 4 hours, goofed around/slept for 10 hours, than played another hour of the game. That's it. And also, speaking of short campaigns, my favorite, best made game of all time is Portal, even w/ a campaign, of 2 hours, it's the most amazing game ever. Of all time.

Man, 5 hours is like, Kane and Lynch 2 short, I wouldn't expect that after having played Killzone 2.

I usually play single players of games for an hour, then go into the multiplayer, maybe plan which part of a game you want to save for a good night.
