Of course, but that doesn't mean they couldn't take out bundles of South Koreans with them. It may get to the point, whether through feeling threatened or being just plain crazy, that the North goes bananas.Freaky Lou said:Well, fortunately North Korea is a pathetic military force. Considering the fact that most North Koreans are in favour of their government and are brainwashed slaves - no. I think it's sad, especially because these people never really got the chance to live a nice life - but I have no real concern for them. They allow this man to be in power.SonicWaffle said:No concern for all the poor bastards stuck in North Korea? China? Haha. China will not get involved. They may talk the talk - but I find it completely laughable that China would risk trade destruction by fighting the world along side North Korea. China don't need North Korea. If push came to shove and the EU and the USA ended up fighting the North, China would be neutral. They are in it for themselves and would not have their life blood cut off because of North Korea.MCGT said:Yeah but the big worry is what if China gets involved like it did last time, and the massive shitstorm that could lead to.SillyBear said:Apparently his son is even worse. What the...? Where has this "talk the talk" bullshit come from? China hasnt threatened anyone, America is being more antagonistic than China is. And Chinas ties to N. Yea actually, as stated before, that's why the DMZ still exists. North Korea and South Korea are no longer in a "hot" war, but the war never actually ended...TrilbyWill said:you're technically still at war with Korea?draconiansundae said:Um no. Those missiles are there to counteract the North Korean ones pointed at Seoul. The Korean War has never technically ended, as as the South's primary ally in the war, the U.S. is bound to defend it.TrilbyWill said:hmm.
he's... dead.
well then.
is america going to stop aiming nukes at Korea and calling it 'missile Feng Shui'?
jesus.

See?
But seriously 2011 is a bad year to be a dictator/terrorist
I mean 3 guys in one year.
-Osama

Kim Jong Il instilled a cult like hold on the people of his country with no freedoms, kidnapped and attacked civilians from South Korea, and much much more.
But hell, at least the country was stable.

Obvious troll is obvious? Maybe? Or just massively uninformed, oblivious and ignorant all at the same time.
Please tell me you're joking. You are, right?

Also, he really didn't do a good job. He made NK an enemy of the US. You really can't do any worse then that.
apparently i know nothing about chorea then. i wasn't trolling, wasn't fully informed, and unaware of the poverty, etc. Now i feel idiotic. i reeeeaaaaalllly need to research before talking, and yes, I'm fairly new here. sorry for the inconvenience.wintercoat said:You're either woefully ignorant of what's been happening in N.Korea, or you've been listening to way too much propaganda. Yeah, I'll "blast" you by telling you that world politics, especially WAR politics, isn't that simple. China borders the north of North Korea, and North Korea, despite their outdated military, DOES have nuclear weapons. If China were in on it, then the biggest issue would be striking at North Korea in a way so the civilians were not harmed (or, since war is always chaotic, were least harmed). And it wouldn't be a wonderful war either. The North Koreans are taught to fight with such honor and bloodshed that hasn't been seen since the Japanese Empire in WW2, which actually conquered Korea then. So, I understand what you're getting at, and I do agree, just not in that action.BOOM headshot65 said:I know I am going to get blasted for this but...
I say we dont let this golden oportuinity pass ungrasped. If I was S. Korea, the US, or the UN, I would be telling the troops "MOUNT UP! The dictactor is dead and the country is in need of resuce. This is a chance to give the people of N. Korea peace and democracy! LETS NOT WASTE IT!!"
