The true reason we need a hands free experience. I hope it does not track all motions.
"Xbox - Find Asian boobs"

Dammit, Kinect! I said "Asian boobs" not "Raisin tubes!"

All you people joking about using this to watch porn, the joke's on you. Judging from the way Microsoft has been handling Windows Phone and the 360 so far, this will probably have some sort of porn-blocker built in.

Also didn't the PS3 have a Web browser since day one? I remember hearing people making fun of it because they thought it was a useless feature, but at least it didn't take them six and a half years to implement.

That's what she said. Okay, but seriously, take the numbers out of the whole quote:
Enhance, stop. Move in, stop. Pull out, track right, stop. Center in, pull back. Stop. Track right. Stop. Center and stop. Enhance. Pan right and pull back. Stop. Enhance. Pull back. Wait a minute, go right, stop. Enhance. Track left. Stop. Enhance. Give me a hard copy right there.
That's what she said.

Which brings me to my next point; knowing what many on this forum primarily use the internet for, combined with motion-sensitive controls...

Anyway, seems cool, I guess.

$10 says this will require Xbox Live Gold account.

They already charge for multiplayer.. Might as well charge for everything else on the PC that's free.

Seriously? Who doesn't have their computer in the same room as their Xbox. If Microsoft were gonna do this they really should have done it much earlier. No one cares now.

[small]Besides, I'd feel awkward reading out the names of the porn I wanted to watch.[/small]

Bing, IE and Kinect the worst Microsoft has to offer all in one place.

OT, not the least bit interested, thought it's surprising that the xbox has no browser...

So..now Microsoft also allows virusses to be easily planted on your Xbox 360. How lovely of them

Seriously even with their "more secure" IE.. the fact is.. the basic design of how IE works is unsafe!

You do not run an application in such a way that from the application layer something can crawl right down into the system layer... with IE that is what you get.

Poor Xbox360 owners :!

Sure the browser on the PS3 sucks.. but at least it cannot break your PS3.

Haha, nooooo thank you. Youtube on Xbox is equally as useless. Why would any sane person want to browse the internet with an interface which takes considerably longer to operate, when you can simply use a computer -_-

18 quotes in and I finally found someone as depraved as me. Thank you good sir. I must say interactive pornography is an... interesting idea that could spawn from this :D

Hope I dont get a virus though.

If it doesn't let you use a mouse and keyboard, it isn't fully-featured. Anyone still not convinced that Microsoft is chasing the motion control loving casual crowd that Nintendo is now regretting that they chased?

I'm torn between this being potentially really cool, and on the other hand having to use IE. Seeing other browsers catch up would be really cool.
