kinect for fable 3

i was reading up on some of the new news for fable 3 and it says they are planning on making fable 3 work for the kinect. i actually think this will be interesting and show some originality for the kinect.

so what do the escapists think of this.

In general, I'm unsure about the Kinect. I don't think it'll be good for competetive games, particularly ones with a controller as an alternative. I think it would be good if they manage to get games like fable working well with it though, so that it doesn't just have Wii type sports/party games.

As long as I can still play wit ha controller, I'm fine with them trying to make it work with Kinect. People who enjoy motion controlling will enjoy it, but I won't be getting Kinect. I hope this doesn't detract from the time they put into the actual game part of the game though...

I'm not a big fan of motion controllers but im excited for Fable 3.

I thought that they should have introduced more mainstream titles with Kinect at E3, if only to cement their point that this isn't just a 2nd-deree peripheral, but an actual controller (and how far it would be used). Fable 3 would have done the job nicely (if it had been ready).

I want to see how it would work first. It's all well and good for making the controls possible (a challenge in itself), but to make them flow naturally is another ordeal entirely.
